Dawn Barnum, Body Repair Specialist - Staff Bios

Dawn is a graduate of the Alpha Institute of Massage and Skin Care.  She is also a member of the Associcated Bodywork Massage Proffesionals.  As a Licensed Massage Therapist, she brings an energetic, positive force to our Body Repair Specialist team of professionals.  Dawn was a dual major in college and earned a Bachelor of Art's in Art and Psychology.  Therefore, she views massage as a study of anatomy in Braille.  It is crucial to "read" the body and feel what it needs most to be fixed.  Through her selfless approach, Dawn always makes the client feel most important.  She treats the body like a temple by infusing positive intention to affect the body, mind and spirit of every client she treats.  Through the proper thereapeutic technique, she will reduce your stress by promoting wellness and total relaxation.

Dawn performs Swedish, DeStressor, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Hot Stone and Aromatherapy Massages.  In addition, she is skilled in Body Wraps and scrubs and delivers each in a flowing, balanced style.  She pays careful attention to setting the right mood, through the use of aromatherapy, lighting and breathing to address and heighten all of the senses.  Dawn feels that creating warmth and nurturance is the key to making the client feel ultimately cared for and left feeling recharged.
